Aug. 28–29, Q Processing Generalist Course
Atlas Coffee Importers will host this two-day course consisting of lectures and comparative cupping exercises. The course provides a scientifically informed body of general knowledge about coffee processing techniques, addressing subjects such as the history of processing, coffee plant anatomy, processing methods, fermentation, drying and future challenges. A written exam will measure competencies in the subject matter and a passing score will result in a Q Processing Generalist Certificate. Visit the Atlas site for more details.
Sept. 1, Labor Day Holiday

Sept. 18–19, SCA Coffee Value Assessment (CVA) for Cuppers
This two-day professional update will familiarize cuppers with the SCA’s new Coffee Value Assessment as a tool to evaluate coffee’s value.
